I’m back today with a BOOK TAG!?! I know right? I feel like I haven’t done one of these in absolutely AGES. Thank you so much to the absolutely AMAZING Bree for tagging me in this – go check out her post!
- Pingback to Zuky here so she can read all your posts!
- You can use her graphics if you like, but you don’t have to if you don’t want to.
- Tag as many people as you want, but please share the love.
Zeus – your favourite book
This will come as a surprise to no one, I’m sure – it’s Peter Pan.
Hera – a badass female character
The first one that springs to mine is Reyna from the Heroes of Olympus series – she is possibly the most badass character of all time.
Janus – your favourite debuts
I…actually don’t know a lot of debuts? I’d probably have to go for Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda since it’s literally the only one I can think of right this second.
Athena – your favourite non-fiction book
Oh heck. I don’t read enough non-fiction stuff. Yeah we’re gonna have to skip this one I think.
Aphrodite – a book you adore and recommend everyone read
THE GRIMM LEGACY BY POLLY SHULMAN. Seriously, it’s a standalone fantasy-ish novel (though there is some sort of sequel, but it’s not necessary) with a load of fairytale references and it’s really quick read. Gah I love it.
Hades – a book you wish didn’t exist
Um…probably House of Night as a series? I remember reading the first one and just kinda…crying inside…for about a week…honestly, it was just so bad…
Poseidon – a beautiful and ground-breaking book
I mean, I am yet to read this, but I’m gonna go with The Hate U Give – I’ve heard so much about it and how brilliant and beautiful it is, and really I can’t think of anything else that would be a better fit for this 🙂
Apollo – a beautiful book cover
The Night of the Solstice by L.J. Smith will probably remain one of my all-time favourite covers for years. It’s not exactly ‘pretty’, but it’s interesting; I love looking at the frame SO much to see what’s been hidden in there.
Hypnos – a book so boring you almost fell asleep
Wendy by Karen Wallace – I still am not 100% sure on how I made it to the end of this book to be totally honest.
Hermes – a book you sped through
Literally any Cathy Cassidy book. I think I read the last few Chocolate Box Girl books within a couple of hours each.
Thank you so much for reading, and thanks again Bree for the tag!!
Lots of love,
